1. Originality is such a beautiful word – try it!

2. Many producers/singers these days have no clue what a music publisher is and what they do.

3. Tracks are selling for $5 and $5 artists are buying them producing $5 results; but you are serious about being in the industry?

4. The word ‘Hater’ is too much of an excuse for poor performance. Face the fact they may not like your music, and moreso, you could possibly stink!

5. Aces are not in their places. If you can’t sing or rap, but can produce, why are you singing or rapping and vice versa?

6. Just because you have a home studio doesn’t mean you can’t have professional business ethics.

7. Your music business should not be your outlet to TMI (too much information) in social media! Honestly, who will take you serious?

8. Promoting your unheard music with your clothes off is such an amateurish move. Are you hiding something? and even if so, who’s really listening?

9. It’s not the amount of equipment you have in your studio;  It’s how you maximize what you have to produce quality results. Stop worrying about getting the next new. Redirect that energy into making good music.

10. Arrogance among an unknown is not attractive… Stop saying you’re the best and nobody knows you! Be ‘confident’ in handling your music business.

11. As frighteningly true as it is; Females, he respects you in the studio when you respect yourself. What you bring in the studio is what you get out of it!

12. Warning: Auto-Tune has been overused. Face that fact, stay away from it, and move on.

13. Work to make music and make music to get work!
