speakers 8 Critical Tips For Musicians With BlogsAs a producer and a person who simply enjoys music, I’m often checking out blog links of other musicians, artists, or people in the music business. It’s just good practice! Whether you are blogging about last night’s gig, an upcoming show, an album release, or just general chat; the tips below will make your blogging experience more effective for you and your readers.

1. Before you post a link to your blog, be sure you are ready for the world to be informed.

2. A blog that is not updated often keeps the reader moving on, and they probably won’t return. Try not to go any longer than 5 to 7 days without posting fresh content to keep your readers engaged.

3. If your blog has not been updated for months, you probably should revamp and or remove the link. Google-bots as well as your fans have already discovered you’re not at home.

4. Your blog becomes an additional job once it hits the web. Be prepared for the workload!
