Her voice captured my attention immediately as she soars through her songs. Gina Zavalis sings with grace, and the warmth of her tones resonates character that leaves the listener feeling her message.
Bio
A lifelong passion for music and years of singing in a variety of musical styles are behind the success of Gina Zavalis and the recent release of her debut single “In Your Eyes.”
Nashville’s Beth Schackne of Schack Attack Songs says, “Beautiful melody, nice strong chorus. Gina obviously has a good grasp of the craft; very impressive for a beginning songwriter.”
Though Zavalis has been performing for over two decades she is just unveiling her song writing ability and the response is overwhelmingly positive. The LA Guitar Academy says, “In her new song, In Your Eyes, Gina Zavalis’ warm tones invite listeners to travel with her on the journey from despair to forgiveness. Her voice, plaintive at first, soars to brilliance as she captures the moment of transformation–a moment of pure freedom. Introspective, brutally honest, Gina conveys a very human moment: the desire for unconditional love, even amid one’s flaws.”
As Gina Zavalis’ artistic credit continues to climb, she has already garnered the respect of some of the industry’s most acclaimed talents. “Gina can wrap herself around a song, and in so doing, turns an ordinary POPsicle into a downright CREAMsicle!” Sass Jordan, Juno Award winning artist and former Canadian Idol host, remarked when asked about Gina’s singing.
Zavalis is working between New York City and Nashville recording a number of new songs with her producer, Doug Beiden, and management through the Lowry Agency based in Nashville. Together they are creating an image that fits Gina’s three octave range, capitalize on placing her alongside contemporary female singers that have come before her such as Sarah Brightman, Celine Dion, and Barbra Streisand.

Amiena’s love for music and variations of styles developed at an young age. Growing up in a home without television, Amiena spent most of her time listening to a wide variety of music. She was introduced to the sounds of Lou Christie, Chicago, The Temptations, Carole King, Billie Holiday, Etta James, and numerous others. They all became her favorites and would later foster her own soulful style of popular eclectic sounds.
In 2000, Amiena was asked to submit a song for a television show which did not air. However, the experience prompted Amiena to explore producing music for television and film.
Her debut album Right Here was released in 2006, and in November of the same year, her song, Never Know aired on the popular FOX TV show Bones. Also in the same month, Amiena walked away from the LA Music Awards with R&B Album of the Year and Nu-Jazz Vocalist of the Year for the song Fourth Floor. As this was a night of dreams realized; it was only the beginning for Amiena.
Internationally, she found herself in high demand while performing in Lebanon, Syria, Greece, Switzerland, Italy, London, Dubai, Prague and Bahrain.
Currently, Amiena is working on her sophomore album.

When I first heard the extraordinary vocal gift of Íris Hólm, I was wowed at how this young woman dominated ‘Dreaming of Bermuda’ (one of my favorite songs from the band). The flavor of Bermudaz proves they are professional musicians with the artistry and know-how of leaving fans wanting more.
Bermudaz, was founded in 2004. They started as a cover band playing songs of Destiny´s Child, Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, and mostly Pop, R&B, and Funk. In 2008, things started to heat up when singer/songwriter Íris Hólm joined the band. Soon thereafter, many new original songs surfaced as they began to focus on building a larger fan base outside their dedicated fan base in Iceland.
After their first single, Bermudaz’s style was categorized as “PowerPop”. Although the demand for the band’s performance was huge while they still played cover on the weekends, their domestic plans were to be recognized as serious musicians and artists who were dedicated to their craft. Bermudaz foreign plans are to continue to deliver quality music and to maintain their style of which they’ve been branded.
